Description 1890s Green Blown Glass Pitcher White Flowers
Notes Lovely green glass pitcher from around the 1890s. It is hand-blown with the pontil on the bottom and a few very tiny bubbles visible in the glass, and the handle was blown separately and attached to the body of the pitcher, as usual for that time period. There is a circular design of white enamel dots on the upper portion, and small white enameled flowers with reddish centers. There evidently was more of a complementary gilding part of the design in the past, but much of it has worn away. There are no chips, cracks, crazing--the only fault is some of the gilding having worn away. It stands 6-1/4" tall x 4-1/4" wide at the largest part. Very, very pretty. It is an apple green color.
