Notes This near fine book is bound in terra cotta paper boards with black cloth spine and gilt lettering on the spine. It is very clean, straight & tight, without marks or tears. The lower spine end is just a tiny bit bumped from shelving. Dust jacket is clean and bright with sunning and a few small edge tears that are internally mended, along with a tiny chip on the upper edge near the spine. Translated from the French by Marion Wiesel, Ani Maamin can be called a poem, a parable, a legend, for it is all of these and more. It is a remarkable poetic retelling of a Talmudic tale, from dj. It is music for the cantata composed by Darius Milhaud. A very nice copy! ; 9 1/2" x 7 1/2"; 107 pages
