The binding is rubbed on the spine and there is some wear at the spine ends and corners. The previous owner's gift inscription is written on the half-title page. If there was a front endpage it is missing. There are no other markings anywhere in the book. A brief history of gliding and soaring with motorless airplanes. Also, German and American gliders and soaring planes are described and illustrated. An interesting book for anyone interested in flying.
