1st edition/1st printing. Near fine book is bound in a nice shade of green cloth with gilt lettering on the front and spine. It is clean, straight & tight. There is light rubbing on the spine ends and corners, plus a touch of foxing on endpapers. The pages are clean and bright without marks or tears. The very good dustjacket is clipped at the front flap, top & bottom, but the price is intact on the lower edge. Front and back panels are illustrated with beautiful camellias. There is some edgewear, edge tears that are internally mended, and rubbing. "After discussing the geography and colorful history of camellias, the author outlines their botany and clarifies their complex classification with drawings and descriptive details." ; B/W & Color Illustrations; 9 1/4" x 6"; 271 pages |
