Notes Bound in dark blue with gilt lettering, this is a printing dated 1900 (one year after the first edition of 1899.) It is straight & tight. There is a frontis illustration protected by an intact tissue guard, which is foxed as are the page edges, title page and endpapers. There is some wear at the spine ends and corners. There are two previous owner's names neathly written on the front endpage as well as a gift inscription on the back of the frontis. The book seems to have been rather carefully taken care of, maybe because it seems to have been given as an award. The inscription reads "Ormond Sunday School, 2nd prize awarded to Murray Tucker for Lessons, Attendance & Good Conduct, 1902". ; 7 1/2" x 5 1/2"; 294 pages
