Notes This book is concerned with the more intimate history of Mozart, his childhood friends and early loves, his unwise marriage and the notorious kick administered by Count Arco, from dust jacket. The book is bound in blue cloth with gilt lettering. It is clean, straight & tight. Endpapers are decorated with maps of Salzburg. Upper edge is faded and there is light bumping of spine ends from shelving. The pages are all clean and tight without marks or tears. The unclipped but unpriced dust jacket is clean and bright, with light wear at the spine ends and sunning of spine and upper edge. Possibly a 1st book club dustjacket (?) that has been put with a 1st trade edition book.; B&W Illustrations; 8 3/4" x 6"; 225 pages
