Notes 1st edition/1st printing of this author's only book. He was a noted singer in the 1960s, married to Joan Baez's sister Mimi, and he was killed in a motorcycle accident a couple of days after this book was published. Thomas Pychon's DJ blurb describes it well: "This book comes on like the Hallelujah Chorus done by 200 kazoo players with perfect pitch." Fine, straight, clean and tight book (probably unread) with unfaded black top page edge stain and no markings of any kind in a clean, crisp, unfaded and price intact dustjacket with a 'very' tiny edge nick to lower front panel spine fold and a short completely closed with no material loss edge tear upper front panel near spine - very close to Fine condition DJ. Quite scarce so well preserved.
