Notes 1st edition/1st printing. Sub-title: Selected Short Writings. Introduced with an autobiographical sketch of the author's early years, in this one volume are her reminiscences of life with "Old Jules", a study of the two Sitting Bulls, and other Indian pieces, a novelette and nine short stories, mostly with a Sandhills setting. The book is bound in brown cloth with a stamped illustration on the front board and lettering on the spine. It is very clean, straight & tight with light rubbing at edges and corners. The interior has no marks or tears. The price intact dust jacket is clean and still bright. It is rubbed some and has edgewear and light chipping at the spine ends and folds, with a few internally mended edge tears. A nice, clean copy! ; 9 1/2" x 6 1/2"; 250 pages
