Notes Book is bound in decorated blue cloth with red printing on the spine. It is clean & tight; some wear to edges, light rubbing on spine & some soil on the front cover. Corners are lightly bumped, still a very nice little cookbook. Some interesting reading for anyone who is interested in how things used to be cooked in the 30's and 40's. Some of the receipes sound really icky, especially the creamed cabbage and baked liver with spaghetti. A truly must-read for how not to cook your food! A redeeming feature, though, are the desserts....y um! ; 7.5 x 5 inches; 199 pages
