AVAILABILITY OF ITEMS: We sell mostly one-of-a-kind items and it is possible, though not probable, that two people would order the same book, piece of jewelry or collectible item at almost the same time. In such a case, the first order we receive will be honored. If this should happen, we will be glad to try to find you a comparable item.

ITEM PICTURES: Our A&A logo may appear on some of our scans or pictures. There is nothing on the item itself; this is just on the image as a copyright measure. Pictures are of the actual item we have for sale.

PROTECTION: All book dustjackets are protected by clear, removable protectors so most of our pictures will show the dustjackets in those protectors.

PRICING: Our prices are always discounted on our own site well below what any of our items will ever be available for on any third-party site. This is our way of saying 'Thank You!' for shopping directly with us. We also offer FREE SHIPPING on U.S. orders shipping via USPS Media Mail and totaling $75 and over (order total not including shipping costs or Oklahoma sales tax for Oklahoma buyers).

Additional discounts are not available unless we have a previously established reciprocal bookseller agreement with you, or unless you are interested in buying several items or a large dollar amount in total. RETURNS/REFUNDS: Any item is returnable for refund for seven days after you receive it as long as we get it back in the same condition as shipped out, so please pack carefully. Please notify us before returns, at aaabooks@aaabooks.com. If we have made a mistake in our description, we will reimburse you for return shipping costs.

PRIVACY STATEMENT: Any information about you will never be sold, rented or transferred to anyone. We do not store customer information online either on our site or elsewhere.

SECURITY: Our shopping cart and any information you input there for payment of an order on our site is protected by SSL encryption techology and we are PCI Industry Standards compliant with our site being scanned monthly for continued compliance.

Credit card payments are processed online on our card processor's secure site, and you are taken to the PayPal secure site page for PayPal payments. After your payment has been completed, you're brought back to our site to be shown a paid invoice that you can print for your records.

PAYMENT: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, and also credit card charges or instant payment through PayPal. Also checks, cashier's checks or money orders mailed to us in U.S. funds, with our prior approval that the item is available and on hold for you.

U.S. SHIPPING: We pad books carefully and ship in sturdy boxes. Our default shipping methods are USPS Media Mail for books and USPS Parcel Post for antiques, unless USPS Priority Mail is requested. Purchases of $100 and over in value are insured through USPS at our cost. There are no handling fees.

Except on unusually heavy (or light) weight items or multiple items in an order, U.S. book orders shipping via USPS Media Mail, or antiques shipping via USPS Parcel Post, will be $4.00 for your first book or antique in your order, with $1.75 added for each additional item.

U.S. Priority shipping for both books and antiques, well padded in boxes, is $10.00 for the first book/item, with $1.75 added for each additional item.

If you have chosen an exceptionally heavy book or item, or a set of books, we will notify you if additional postage is required.

SALES TAX: Oklahoma residents must pay 4.5% State Sales Tax unless you have supplied us with a copy of your Oklahoma resale permit.

NON-U.S. SHIPMENTS: USPS Global Priority cardboard envelopes will be used where safe and available on shipments up to a value of $99.99, at a cost of $12.00 for Canada and Mexico, and $14.00 for all other countries for which USPS Global Priority shipments are available.

If you prefer Priority Air International at its additional cost on an item costing less than $100, you must click on 'I want priority' during check-out.

For orders of $100 and over in value, or for multiple items in an order, or for extremely large or heavy books or items with a value of under $99.99, we ship well padded in a box via USPS Priority Air International, insured at our expense when the value of the item purchased is $100 or over, at a cost of $20.00 for Canada and Mexico, and $37.50 for the rest of the world.

We will notify you if the book or item you've ordered is over-sized or exceptionally heavy and will cost more to ship. USPS Global Priority shipments can not be insured and thus all items with a value of over $100 must ship via USPS Priority Air International. There are no handling fees.
